Lecture: Team in Training for "Osteoporosis"

05/06/2007 - 6:30pm
05/06/2007 - 8:30pm

On Sunday, May 6th, 6:30 PM at Mercury Cafe - Cycling Sisters (and anybody else) are invited to hear Marie Jarrell, Physical Therapist and representative of Team in Training.

Marie will give an excellent lecture I have heard previously at Momentum (Running store on Clybourn) - about osteoporosis. I learned so much that I didn't know already. And I also got a
Sahara Bone Density Screening - free!!! Marie will bring her bone density screening equipment for us, tell us how to protect against the brittle bone disease calledosteoporosis and also talk about Team in Training.

We can purchase snacks or beverages from Mercury Cafe while we socialize and swap stories about cycling. There is no charge except for the food you might purchase from the Mercury Cafe. This is the same venue we used for the Bicycle Art Show a few weeks ago. I think we all liked it, so I picked it for this social and educational gathering.

There's plenty of things to lock bikes to outside the door. 1505 W. Chicago Ave. just a block east of Ashland (1600 W)- 800 North

PS If you're looking for a Physical Therapist, you might want to talk to Marie about that too.
