Food, fun and shopping in Forest Park!

    Come join us for an enjoyable outing that combines food, fun, shopping, and bicycles!


What could be more fun?

We will be riding from the Chicago Cultural Center on the corner of Randolph and Michigan to Forest Park, IL. Forest Park is a charming suburb near Oak Park that combines an historic downtown, quaint and quirky shops, and affordable dining options. A highlight will be shopping at Todd and Holland fine tea purveyors.

Round trip mileage will be about 20 miles, but it's possible to take the L home (both the blue and green lines run very close to Forest Park) so don't be intimidated by the distance.

Oak Park ran a Shop-by-Bike initiative two summers ago, so they have good bike parking AND they support cycling. Let's give them some of our business in appreciation.

This event will run regardless of weather (barring a massive snow or ice storm).
