Event Description:
47 miles 14-16 mph
This scenic tour goes through Washington Park, Marquette Park,
the Major Taylor Trail, Stony Island Landfill, the Burnham
Trail, Calumet Park and Jackson Park. I intend to keep a steady
15 mph pace because I would like to encourage new riders. We
will stop for lunch either at Skyway Hot Dogs or the Mexican Inn
so please bring cash.

Event Description:
Families with children are welcome on this fun, moderately paced ride along the Lakefront Trail and environs.
Ride starts at the main steps of the Shedd Aquarium (west entrance) and will finish at Haagen Daz on Navy Pier. Note: Free fireworks at the Pier at 9pm. Approx. length 4 miles (to be determined by the abilities of the riders). Pace: ~7mph
When: Sat. June 16, 5pm
Where: Meet at the West steps of the Shedd Aquarium

Event Description:
Ever wondered how to do basic bike maintenance? Well, here's your chance! Come on out for this fun, friendly, chick-only workshop on basic bike duties like cleaning and lubricating your chain, adjusting your brakes, and changing a flat tire. We'll teach you what to do, and then answer any questions while you work on getting your own trusty steed up to speed. At the end, we'll have the option of taking a leisurely cruise through the neighborhood on our nicely tuned up wheels.
